| Aims of the project |
- To support parents of children with learning
difficulties.
- To familiarise parents with experiences that children
with learning difficulties go through.
- To develop strategies parents can use to support
their children's learning in a positive and effective
manner.

- A series of meetings with parents of children with
learning difficulties led by SENCo.
- Discussions on nature of specific learning difficulties
and how they can help.
- Discussion and support for parental needs.
- Build up a resource bank for parents of books,
games and activities.

- The project ensures accessibility for parents to
effective ways of helping their child and promotes
diversity amongst the school community by
acknowledging needs and differences and placing
a high value on including parents in their children's
learning.
