- Evidence
from new parents of difficulty in
supporting homework, particularly ICT facilities
needed.
- Low take up of out-of-school hours provision in
school Resource Centre and Public Library.

- To raise awareness of what all 'Partners in Learning'
can do to support children's learning - parents
themselves and local providers.
- What is on offer in the school Resource
Centre, in
the Public Library, Huntingdon Records Office,
Schools Library Service, Information Shop etc

| How the project operates |
- Partners in Learning open evening at St Ivo School
in June of each year, welcomes all future Year 7
students and their parents.
- Resource Centre and all outside agencies
display what's on offer and organise an activity for the
children while parents take part in presentation by
the Headteacher, assisted by current Year 7 pupils.

- The event focuses on the whole learning
community, sharing the responsibility of supporting
the learner.
