community not using County Library facilities and not taking up Nursery
places. |
| Aims of the project |
- Deliver a supportive and comfortable environment
where parents will be encouraged and supported to
read and play with their children as well as
participate in simple craft activities, rhythm and
rhyme sessions.

- Management Committee with Parents Charity route

visitors / minority involvement worker etc.

| How is the programme innovative |
- Working hard with others to introduce new exciting
projects that benefit parents and children. Links with
Family Learning - 'pilot' Playmatters / Environment
Dept - bringing outside in - minibeasts / Health -healthy
eating - fruit children, mums make healthy
lunchboxes / IT - offer crèche, encourage parents
back into learning / Play points Scheme - star each
visit - reach ten stars - prize / Song Book Scheme -new
song sheet each visit.
